Abstract
Editors' Note
It is an honor for us to present the first issue of Ciencias de la Ingeniería, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering at the Autonomous University of Campeche (UACAM). This milestone represents the result of hard work and unwavering commitment to fostering scientific dissemination, giving visibility to the research and technological developments generated by our institution’s academics, as well as by colleagues from other universities and research centers.
The creation of this journal arises from a firm purpose: to establish a space for researchers, academic bodies, collaborative networks, and specialists in the various fields of engineering. Through this platform, we aim to share high-impact knowledge and promote the exchange of ideas and results that contribute to scientific and technological advancement in Mexico and beyond its borders.
We deeply thank the authors who have placed their trust in this project by submitting their valuable contributions to this inaugural issue, as well as their home institutions for supporting this initiative. Our commitment is to ensure the quality and academic rigor of each publication, with the goal of positioning Ciencias de la Ingeniería within the most representative indexes and databases in Latin America and, in the long term, at the international level.
Undoubtedly, this first issue marks the beginning of a scientific publication with great potential to host multi-institutional and transdisciplinary work, reflecting the very essence of engineering: innovation, collaboration, and the solving of complex problems.
We invite the academic community to join this effort by contributing their research and becoming active participants in the growth of this journal. We are convinced that Ciencias de la Ingeniería will become a key reference for the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge in our region and beyond.
